Should students be paid to attend school?

Why in the world would you pay students to go to school?!?! Our legislation just cut big money. Really, millions of dollars! There are some kids in China right now working in a SWEATSHOP people. Thoose kids don’t know math, reading, or writing. Then people have the nerve to make schools pay their kids to got to school. Besides, exactly WHERE will this money come from? WHO KNOWS! Schools spend enough money on chairs, desks, technology, bills, and much more. School is free. Also, if kids are getting money it should come from deeds like washing you neighbors car. Get money from easy work, or stay at home! – Abby

I agree with your post. I think kids should not get paid for going to school. Students should want to better themselves and to learn as much as they can. It is a privilege to go to school. Some countries don’t have a free educational system as we do. I agree with your thought about where would we get this extra money. That would be a major consideration. You are very lucky to have such a great school!
